The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

As much fun as we had, I’m very relieved that Christmas is over. The mass commercialism of the holiday reared its ugly head at our house yesterday and it left me feeling kind of gross. Izzy had so many presents that she kept trying to lie down and go to sleep instead of opening them. She would have been happy with one present instead of being completely overwhelmed. Toys and clothes were everywhere and at the end of the day, I really couldn’t believe everything. But she was most excited about her baby stroller, play pen and swing that she got for her baby. Chase, on the other hand, was not excited. It took him forever to put it all together. He tried to follow the instructions but they weren’t great and kept making things worse. We had a very nice day and I think that everyone like what we got them. I’m also relieved that I won’t be getting yelled at so much anymore at work. Hopefully…
